I used to be a middle-school history teacher— now I’m in real estate and absolutely love it. In a way, being a real estate guide embodies the same mission that educators champion, which is to find the most effective and personalized way to successfully bridge people to the next chapter in their lives. I just traded in the textbooks for houses.
I decided to start Nail & Key when I became involved with homelessness outreach here in Dallas/Fort Worth and realized that I could unite both of my passions under one umbrella. My goal is to combat homelessness by donating 10% of my real estate commissions to Prodigal Projects, our non-profit organization. Buying or selling a home can be the start of an exciting journey, but it can also be a way to do something meaningful and lasting for our communities.
